Affiliation to the Scottish Civic Trust

The Scottish Civic Trust welcomes requests for affiliation from all local groups and societies that share our core objectives.  These are:

  • promoting initiatives which inform and educate people on environmental issues
  • contributing positively on planning matters
  • encouraging the highest quality in new architecture and public space
  • supporting the conservation and re-use of historic buildings
  • working to improve Scotland's townscapes and landscapes.

Currently, we have over 100 local affiliated groups as part of our civic trust network.  Groups such as Kyle and Carrick Civic Society, Dundee Civic Trust, Cockburn Association, Clydebank Restoration Society and Inveresk Village Society are just some of the civic trusts, restoration and conservation societies who share our aims and aspirations.
