Dimi joined the Scottish Civic Trust in June 2026 as My Place Officer. He studied History and Politics at the University of Glasgow. During his National Service in Greece, he was stationed at the Army History Directorate in Athens, and he has also volunteered as an archivist at the Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum in Glasgow.
Since 2010, Dimi has developed substantial experience working with volunteer groups and delivering community-led projects. He is a Level 2 rowing coach and has contributed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), including LGBTQ+ initiatives, at Clydesdale Amateur Rowing Club. Through Clydesdale ARC he also organised and delivered accessible rowing projects and outreach programmes in collaboration with local communities and partner organisations. He was also involved in the regeneration of the historic West Boathouse on Glasgow Green.
Dimi has a strong interest in Scotland’s built heritage and is committed to supporting communities to engage with and shape their local environment.
Dimi works 4 days per week: Monday - Thursday, 9am–5pm.
