The My Place Awards are the Scottish Civic Trust’s annual celebration of the difference communities can make to their local places. Their aim is to celebrate the difference people and organisations can make to their local place and community through:

• recognition of community-led regeneration projects that have transformed a neighbourhood through the My Place Award
• recognition of the outstanding contributions that individuals can make to place, regeneration, or the historic environment through the Community Champion Award
• highlighting excellence in climate change mitigation in community-led projects through the Climate Award
• promoting equality in community life and projects by breaking down barriers for under-represented communities in civic life through the Equality Award

Winners of the My Place Awards benefit from the opportunity to develop a national profile and evidence impact to potential and existing funders, as well as be celebrated at a ceremony attended by national policy makers and major stakeholders in Scotland’s built environment sector.
